What’s On My Needles ~

I finished the baby items for my cleaning girl’s first grandchild. I’ll give it to her this week and I’m hoping she’ll like the blanket, sweater and hat. I really love working on those baby projects.

But now I’m working on a coral top for my daughter and a tan cardigan for myself.

These were two of the yarns I purchased while I was in the Berkshires. The coral is Ultra Pima cotton and my cardigan is Juniper Moon, Zooey in a cotton and linen blend.

Adult projects take a bit longer but these are both enjoyable patterns.

I’ve also been doing some reading. I finished a fun Irish cozy, Dial P for Poison by Zara Keane. And I’m now reading The Bloom Girls by Emily Cavanagh. I enjoyed the cozy and will eventually get to book two, as it’s a series. But I’m loving the women’s fiction novel by Cavanagh. About three adult sisters, gathering in Maine after the death of their father.

Hope you have a fun project on your needles and you’re also engrossed in a great novel.

See you here next time…………………..

  1. My fun project on the needles hasn’t seen much attention lately…just peeking along. I am reading lots of good books, still working to get the blogging down and seeing lots of friends and eating and drinking way to much. In between, well you know how that goes…the kids, doctors appointment and gum surgery. I look like Jim beat me up….LOL
Enjoy the rest of your week…I was going to say summer but for you summer is eternal…
